REQUIREMENTS: Participation in this event is

home. We will be more than happy to see you at
another event once it is considered safe for
you to do

Failure to comply with this requirement may
result in removal from this event and/or future

It's slush cup!!! Do NOT show up without a costume. A tail tied to your helmet or a hockey jersey are NOT costumes.Be a good sport and try to wear a cool costume,,or at least try. This trip is intended for all levels of skiers and boarders. We will try to stay together as a group as this is supposed to be a fun day not a die hard ski day. Anyone wanting to take off on your own is allowed to do so. If the ability of skiers is too great we will break off into ability level after a few runs. We are meeting at the Petro-Canada Gas Station on Highway 1 and 22. Please read below for instructions. We are leaving the meeting location at 715 am sharp. Please arrive 5 mins early . DO NOT be late. If you are going to be late, please call Terrie @ 403- 828 9434 so that we can make arrangements to wait/not wait for you. Please note car pool costs and pay your driver accordingly. Also, if you do not have a park pass please offer your driver $3 (suggested) towards park entrance fee. We are gathering up on the
SECOND FLOOR
of the Creekside
Pub (restaurant beside the gondola at the
base of the mountain)
at 8:30 am in order to
take the gondola up at 8:45 am
.
We are having lunch at 1:30 pm in the tent in
front
of the main lodge (beside WaWa chair lift). You
can bring your own lunch. Microwaves are provided.

Carpool Cost: | ![]() | Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $80.50 (calculated at total Km * $0.35, effective Wednesday, June 7, 2023). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle. | |||||

Winter Safety Considerations Due diligence completed by Terrie on May 13, 2022 Terrain Classification: This event is exempt from avalanche planning because we will be skiing at a ski resort. No out of bounds skiing allowed. Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are not trained guides. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road conditions, current weather conditions, current trail conditions and current avalanche conditions for the trip.
