Need to work up an appetite for some turkey and pie? Come out for a fall hike! We have an early start to get people back to the city in time to slide into their seats at the dinner table at a respectable time.

The pace will be moderate: slow on the hills and steady on the flats. We'll hike up to the lake for lunch before returning the way we came. All trails suggests 3hr20mins so I've added time for lunch and photos. Your coordinator has only done this once and it was about 10 years ago, but I've got a map and directions to the trailhead. ;)

Finally, while the trip is early to accommodate suppers, if you have a definite time restriction or will be stressed if things are slower or longer than indicated, please do not sign up. We still need to be flexible for unforeseen circumstances and I don't want people feeling pressured to rush their pace, their lunch or the drive back - there will be traffic to contend with!
