In order to avoid a complete shut-down of the COC, the Executive Committee is proposing to replace our current Non-Profit structure with a simpler volunteer-run club (similar to how the club functioned for its first seven years).

This meeting will be to discuss the proposal, and vote on the decision.

The expectation is that if you're going to attend this meeting as a VOTING MEMBER, you will have an understanding of the proposal, and the required decision PRIOR to the meeting.

A "voting member" is:

A club volunteer, appearing on our Volunteer page, AND/OR
An "active" member, according to our FAQ #17

To facilitate voting members' understanding of the proposal:

There will be two pre-meeting-meetings to discuss the proposal and ensure that attendees understand (1) the proposal and (2) the decision that needs to be made:
1. July 3, 6PM: Pre-Meeting 1
2. July 6, 6PM: Pre-Meeting 2

We understand that everyone learns and absorbs differently. If you are a VOTING MEMBER who will be attending this meeting, please be sure to take advantage of those resources (proposal document, two pre-meeting-meetings) per your preference to make sure you come to the meeting prepared.

We will use the "Free 60" (60 free minutes on Google Meet) to conduct this meeting. I anticipate that we may want to spend more than 60 minutes, so I will send out TWO links. If we use up the first 60 minutes and want to return, take a 5-minute break then return using the second link.
