This will be a casual social event to kickoff the first official day of the COC Spinoff Club, Calgary Outdoor Club + More. Come and meet some of your fellow COCers and coordinators. You are welcome to arrive anytime within the two hours and stay as long as you like.

One of the changes we made for the spinoff club is that we are bringing back the ability to have guests and children in attendance at the coordinator's discretion. Therefore, THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL AGES AND GUESTS. The website is not yet set up for this so please let me know in the notes section how many people you are bringing. I will have guest and child waivers for signing at the event.

We will meet at the Song Sparrow Picnic Site (5 tables) near parking areas H and I. There is additional parking in Area G as well. If this area is being used, there is another area called Kingfisher Picnic Site to the east of Song Sparrow.

This area has a ping pong table, foosball table, checkers and chess table, backgammon table and cornhole boards. All of the games table are made of concrete so I know they are permanent fixtures in the park.

I am bringing a cake to commemorate this special occasion and will serve it at 1:30pm. Feel free to bring snacks to share with others if you like.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- Bean bags, checkers, chess pieces, ping pong paddles if you would like to play the games at the park.
- Lawn games, soccer ball, football
- Lawn chairs

There is construction at Crowchild and Glenmore so it is easier to enter off Glenmore and 37th Street SW.
