The trail climbs steadily for the first 4.5 km. Then flattens out for a bit before we head into the forest and up to the ridge. We'll eat lunch on or near the ridge and then we will return along the same route.

This is a moderately strenuous hike so the pace will be set to match the abilities of the group. Please be prepared to stay as a group.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:West on Highway 8. Turn off to go to Bragg Creek which is Highway 22. At Bragg Creek turn left at the traffic lights. Turn right onto Highway 66 and follow Highway 66 for about 27 km to the junction with Powderface Trail (this is at the corner where you turn to Little Elbow campground). Park at this junction, and just beyond the cattle guard you'll see the trail climbing the hillside to the right side of the gravel road. We'll park at the start of the gravel road.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $39.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Wednesday, November 29, 2023).
