Itinerary:

Stair climbing is a short and sweet workout and is more motivating with other people!

Please do not park at the Curling Club; your car could be towed away. Parking is free for 2 hours at the top of the stairs or you can pay to park at the bottom.

There are 120 feet, 167 steps, (~40m) of McHugh Bluff to climb up. Start at the level you are comfortable with and work your way up. Just remember it's supposed to be training, so it ought to be a bit tougher than a hike.

It can improve your fitness and boost your energy and mood. Really good training for your hikes/backpacking trips or just to improve your overall stamina.

ROUTE #1:
There are 167 steps up the stairs (works the thighs a lot), and then walk down the bike path to catch your breath.

ROUTE #2:
Walk up the bike path heading east and come down the stairs. You should feel it in your hips if you go fast enough ;)

ROUTE #3:
Up and down the stairs or up and down the hill is just fine too. You decide.
