Fullerton Loop is an easy hike that provides excellent views of the Elbow Valley and nearby foothills. The plan is to undertake this hike at a relaxed, but moderate pace. We will stop to catch our breath when needed and enjoy the views. Note that as this is an evening hike and it will be beginning to get dark shortly before we begin the hike. Headlamps and microspikes are required.

You are welcome to bring your dog if they are used to hiking at a moderate, steady pace on a leash with a group and can respect the personal space of other dogs and people. Please bring a light for your dog too!:)

We will be hiking the loop clockwise, going UP the steep side and down the more moderate section. The event will go ahead as planned unless there is a heavy rainfall / snowfall warning for the area, dangerous road conditions or temperatures below -25c (incl. windchill).

Follow the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) to Highway 22, follow Highway 22 south through Bragg Creek, turning left at the 4-way stop. At the Highway 66 Junction, turn right and follow Highway 66. The parking area is on the right, across from the Allen Bill Day Use area - you'll see the signs after you cross the Elbow River bridge. We will meet by the big rock near the outhouses ready to hike about 5 minutes early. I'll have a green daypack.
