Itinerary:
Come join your coordinator for an early-season early -evening ski at Confederation Golf course. This is best suited to Novice / Intermediate+ as tracks are still limited and there will be hills to navigate. Due to the snow still being soft, walking the hills will be discouraged but we can talk you down. ;)

We'll meet in the parking lot for the Holy Cross Anglican Church (the golf course lot locks at 6 p.m.) From there, we'll enter the golf course on the west side and aim to do two loops of the trackset blue loop. Note that some sections could be thin / rough so be ready to adjust if needed!

Sunset is approximately 4:30 pm. The Christmas lights on the east side of the Golf Course come on at 5:30 p.m. so we'll have some light on that side but bring a headlamp to use for the evening, as the tracks are not lit.

Pace will be relaxed / moderate (3 - 4 km / hr) - if you're a speed demon or a shuffler / walker, this isn't a good fit. Fast skiers should be prepared to ski slower / wait.

To purchase your trail pass ($10 / day or $50 season) before you, please visit: Foothills Nordic Pass.
