Itinerary:
Start your frosty weekend with a short XC ski at Confederation Golf Course. Given that the tracks may not be pristine and that our pace will be on the slower side of moderate, this event will be best suited to well-balanced novices through to relaxed advanced skiers. You are welcome to walk the hills down and back up to the parking area if needed. :)

We'll meet by the club house that's beside the parking lot at Confederation Golf course and then proceed to do 1 - 2 laps of the course. Tracks were last set on Monday and I imagine they'll give them another go-over on Friday.

Note that the weather will be cool for our ski (-17c with a breeze), so we are planning to keep it short to avoid getting too chilled. If you find you're done after 1 lap, you are welcome to call it a morning. Likewise, if you want to keep going after two laps, you're welcome to stay on your own.

Pace will be relaxed / moderate (3 - 4 km / hr) - if you're a speed demon or a shuffler / walker, this isn't a good fit. Fast skiers should be prepared to ski slower versus waiting as you'll get too cold.

To purchase your trail pass ($10 / day or $50 season) before you, please visit: Foothills Nordic Pass.
