Itinerary:
Approximate Distance: ~16.6km return.
Elevation Gain to Pass: ~699m

The early part is along a level trail with most of the elevation gain being in the last 3 km. Once the pass has been reached, a wonderful view of the Powder Creek Valley is available. From there, for those that dare, it’s another kilometre up the ridge! We should be back at the parking lot around 3pm.

Note that we will take a few breaks along the way and we will plan to have lunch at the pass. Expect snow, ice and mud - it’s that wonderfully sloppy time of year!

Our pace will be moderate during the uphill portions and brisk for the balance.
