Itinerary:

This route follows paved paths throughout the manicured park and is mostly flat. If the group feels up for a bit more then we can do a short loop through the cemetery, which includes a few easy hills before returning to the parking lot.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT FOR SPEEDY PEOPLE BUT MORE FOR SOMEONE LOOKING TO GET OUT AND ENJOY A CASUAL AUTUMN STROLL.
Please plan to arrive a bit early as we will be leaving the parking lot right on time.

Approximate Distance: ~6km
Degree of Difficulty: Easy and flat

Port-a-potties are available in the parking lot and flush toilets are open towards the east end of the park - we'll make a short stop there on our way by.

Confederation Park lies in the northwest part of the city. This crescent shaped park of more than 160 hectares was once known as "the North Hill Coulee". The wetland section, approximately eight hectares, runs between 14 St. N.W. and 30 Ave. N.W. The park was created in 1967 to mark the centennial of Canadian Confederation.
