It is larch season! This hike takes you along a forest trail with a challenging climb to a beautiful lake with a shoreline carpeted with flowers and Mt Bell towering above.

Our pace will be moderate so not for slower or speed demon hikers. We will stay together as a group.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take highway # 1 westbound to the Taylor Lake trailhead/Day Use area 8km past Castle Junction. There is a turnoff for Taylor Lake on your left. Keep your eyes peeled for it so you don't have to drive all the way to Lake Louise, do a U-turn, and waste time. There are two signs for the trailhead, but they can be easy to miss if you are not paying attention. There is also a short left-turn lane. *** Please use caution when turning into this lot.***
