Rawson Lake is likely one of the most beautiful lakes in the whole Kananaskis Country.

The trail alongside the Upper Lake is undulating at the start but becomes a steady uphill once on the Rawson Lake Trail proper.

NOTE: There will likely be mud/snow on the trail for the last km or so. Gaiters and microspikes are strongly recommended.

Since the Kananaskis Lakes area is home to a few Grizzlies, bear spray is mandatory for this trip. All participants will need to stay with the group for the entirety of the trip.

We will not be proceeding to Sarrail Ridge as that section will likely not be in 'hiking condition' for another month or so.
