Itinerary:
Distance: 13.2 km round trip
Elevation Gain: ~800 m

The trail starts with a climb up a forested side ridge with a zig-zag route then continues on a straighter path to the junction with Jumpingpound Ridge. We'll turn left to the Cox Hill Ridge trail. We'll lose a bit of elevation on the way and then more uphill to the summit. Lunch at the top of Cox Hill.

The pace will be moderate; slower on steeper uphills. Note that this hike does have over 700m of ascent (not a 'hill'!), so a moderate level of fitness is required to make this a safe and enjoyable outing. Faster hikers are welcome but will be expected to stay within view of the group.
