Distance: approx. 14km
Elevation gain: approx. 715m

The trail begins with an initial very steep ascent, however we will be rewarded with a scenic 3km alpine cruise after our efforts. The trail should give great views of the foothills and front ranges..

Please ensure that you have completed at least a couple of hikes of similar difficulty this season prior to registering for this event.

NOTE: : There will be a creek crossing so please bring water sandals with you.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take the Trans Canada Highway 1 west from Calgary and turn South on 22 toward Bragg Creek. At the 3 way stop sign at Bragg Creek, turn left to stay on Highway 22. Reset odometer to 0. Turn west (right) onto Highway 66 and continue west. At 22km pass a left fork...continue straight. At 31kms turn left. (Do not follow unpaved road straight ahead) At 32km, pass Forgetmenot Pond day use area on left and continue to the dayuse lot on the left

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $45.54 (calculated at total Km * $0.33, effective Monday, September 14, 2026).
