Distance : Total 19km loop
Total elevation gain : approximately 230 metres

We will park at the Upper Lake Day Use parking lot and circle the lake clockwise at a moderately brisk pace.

- Appropriate clothing for variable weather
- Lunch and snacks
- Water
- $$ for carpool
- Bear Spray
- Bug Spray (for ticks)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take the Trans Canada Highway west from Calgary for approximately 70 km, then turn south on Highway 40 for approximately 50 km. Turn right onto Kananaskis Lakes Trail and follow the signs to the Upper Lake parking lots. Park in the lot on your left hand side.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $85.80 (calculated at total Km * $0.33, effective Monday, September 14, 2026).
