This is a steep hike in places, so the pace will be moderate, even slow on the steepest sections. There is a river crossing, ankle deep, so bring along some water shoes.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

If coming from Calgary along Highway 1, turn south at the Petro-Canada station and take Highway 22 to Bragg Creek. At the lights in Bragg Creek, turn left and go 2 km to the T junction with Highway 66. Turn right and follow 66 all the way to where it ends and the gravel road Powderface Trail begins. Do not continue on Powderface Trail. Veer left on the paved road and proceed to the Little Elbow Conservation parking Lot. Note, this is beyond the Forget-me-not Pond parking lot. Do not park at Forget-me-not Pond, but park later, at the large car park just before Equestrian parking. I'll meet you near the toilets.
If coming from the south along Highway 22X, take it to where it continues on as Highway 66, rather than turning in Bragg Creek, and follow the above directions.
