Itinerary:
Explore a variety of trails along the top/edge of Nose Hill while watching the sun set. We will return the same way we came, but it will be dark so I recommend bringing flashlights or headlamps in case we need to illuminate our way. I have two other side agendas besides the sunset that I'm hoping to check out with this hike: (1) could Nose Hill be suitable to watch a meteor shower?; (2)northern lights are supposed to be very good during April and October - is it possible to see northern lights from Nose Hill? Be prepared to explore side trails in the dark that may offer "dark places" where we can see the sky as well as lovely city lights views.

Please take note of the directions (below) to the meeting place as it can be confusing for first-timers. Nose Hill park history: http://www.ucalgary.ca/applied_history/tutor/calgary/nosehill.html

After the hike some may choose to finish up with refreshments either on top of the hill or at some other place of preference to the group. I'll probably be heading straight back home.
