Itinerary:

A slow-paced, easy to moderate cycle on quiet pathways through beautiful Confederation Park, past the golf course, a bit of community street riding, and then take the overpass to Nose Hill. The path includes a bit of rolling hills along the way, but nothing difficult. Great city views from Nose Hill - where we will take a short lunch stop - and oppportunity to check out new pathways they've been working on through the summer. There is no set route through Nose Hill - we'll just figure it out as we go. The return will take us through a tunnel and again mostly on quiet park pathways, a short jaunt on the sidewalk along 4th Street (the designated cycle route), through the cemetery and back to our starting place.

Bike with bell + helmet. No exceptions.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Meet in the WEST official parking lot for Confederation Park on 10 Street between 24 Ave and Rosehill Drive NW, near the recycle bins.
Transit: Take the #4 (northbound on 10 St) or #5 (southbound on 10 St). Get off at 10 St and Rosehill Dr, walk south to parking lot for Confederation Park on WEST side of 10 Street.
