Itinerary:
Okayyyy, now that we've done our first workout lets keep the momentum going!

Huff Puff let's get started for Joe Boxer/Bikini time..... in Summer! (Hopefully you'll have muscles and abs to show off then)

Now it's time to REALLY shake off the winter cobwebs and not to mention all the extra calories gained over the holiday season. For those who also made new year resolutions to get into some sort of shape, here we go again!

So lets load up your packs (again)

We're going to get and stay in shape, we will try our best to huff and puff ourselves into the ground (or stairs)and go on and on and on and......

We will climb the 120 feet of elevation. Do it via the 11 flights (168 steps - deep breath) and then walk down the path to catch our breath or speed walk up the path, tightening those buns and come down the stairs. Whichever is your poison do your best! In the span of an hour we will complete the circuit oh maybe about 6 times with a pack on. More circuits if you're cheating and don't have a pack on...;)

This is excellent conditioning for elevation on backpacking and hiking trips...doesn't it sound like fun? Yay! You'll be real glad we did this when we get to go on trips. Better to suffer together now and enjoy the trip later!

Besides it's great for losing a few inches here and there (Lordy knows I need that...) :o)

As is customary, we'll head to a pub after for refreshments (Beer or water, it's up to you! Protein after the workout is always good) and to get to know your fellow members better...which makes it all worth it!

Required Items to Bring:
-Flashlight
- water
- appropriate clothing
- Your backpack, loaded up with the heaviest weight you're currently comfortable with carrying. We recommend starting with a pack of about 25 pounds and working your way up to your personal maximum - the experts recommend for that to be about 1/3 of your body weight. See our Backpacker Checklist for information about how to pack your pack. Even though we're filling up with water-weight, the "how to pack" section at the bottom of the checklist is still relevant.
