Since we were able to obtain the theater room for free, in return Cardel would graciously appreciate donations of 1 non-perishable food item per attendee, which they collect to support local charities

The Fish and Wildlife Officers from the Alberta Karelian Bear Dog Team, Kirk Olchowy, John Clarke and Rob DiPalo and their canine partners Mica, Kuma, Koda and Atlas will provide information about personal safety in bear country while living, working and recreating in bear country. They seek to help raise awareness and educate people visiting and living in bear country

You will also learn how these specialized Wildlife Service dogs also work with their Fish and Wildlife Officers to help with other problem wildlife issues like moose, cougars and the roadside safety of big horn sheep.

The dogs are highly socialized to people and are experienced at large public events. Opportunities are made available as part of the presentation for members of the public to visit with the dogs.

Please Note: No-shows will be recorded-please remember that it is YOUR responsibility to check in with the coordinator.

We have Cardel Homes' state-of-the-art theatre venue reserved for our private use.
