Sunday - Possible hike to Bear's Hump. Pack up and drive back to Calgary.

Detailed Cost Info: The campground I chose for this event is Waterton Springs Campground, just outside of Waterton Natl. Park, because they have a lot of amenities for a reasonable price. The exact cost of camping is difficult to determine at this point because it depends upon which site you choose and whether you will be sharing a campsite with someone else. It's up to you. The cost ($30.00) is an estimate, and is payable directly to the campground office. You pay when you arrive at the campground. Some may pay a little more, some may pay less. The sites vary in price. In any case, the club (and myself) does not profit from the fees. To find out more about the campground, check out their website at www.watertonspringscamping.com

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $161.70 (calculated at total Km * $0.33, effective Saturday, August 8, 2026). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.

Notes:
There is a golf course nearby, if anyone is interested. Bring a bicycle if you like (not for the golfing, silly).
