Itinerary:
This trail is a 16.5km loop with a height gain of 60m; however, there are many undulations on the trail so it provides a fairly good workout.

"A revelation of beauty hardly equalled anywhere... has four large islands and several small islets, all densely wooded, which give an endless variety of views from various points", said Walter Wilcox in 1901.
After the hike, we will likely stop for a coffee /beer at the Kananaskis Lodge.

More information in Gillean Daffern's "Kananaskis Country trail guide". Hike 97 on page 213.
