Now that Spring / Summer has arrived, it is so glorious outdoors. For those not inclined to spend the long weekend gardening, a walk early Monday morning might be just the ticket. Bowmont is a beautiful city park, and one of my favourites. Starting from Silver Springs, we will hike over rolling hills, mainly on dirt paths. The pace will be slow to moderate - a relaxed hike before both rain and work arrive on Tuesday.

From Crowchild Trail, take Silver Springs Gate South. At the intersection (traffic light) of Silver Springs Gate and Silver Springs Blvd, turn left. This road ends at 54th Ave. Parking is available on the south side of the road and at its end
