Itinerary:
Since I haven't hiked in over a month, and my back is still recovering, I thought I would post this short & easy hike since the weather will be beautiful and then have lunch at the Juniper (a local favorite)! This will be a slowpoke event and beginners are welcome !

Johnson Lake Trail:
Distance: 3.5km round trip
Elevation Gain: None

Natural marvels, historic sites and a variety of birds and other small wildlife can be seen during a few hours stroll at Johnson Lake. This picturesque trail takes you along the shoreline and offers breathtaking views of Cascade Mountain and Mount Rundle.
Starting at the parking lot picnic area, the Johnson Lake trail encircles the lake in 3.5 km, never far from its shores. It crosses a causeway at the far end of this man-made lake and finishes following a power line clearing to a second lakeshore picnic site.

Lunch: Once we are finished, we will drive to the Juniper Hotel & Bistro for lunch + the best view in the entire Bow Valley. Please note that lunch is a mandatory part of this event.
