Itinerary:
From the parking lot at Ribbon Creek, we will ride up to and past Kananaskis Village on to Terrace Trail. We will stop for lunch by the suspension bridge over the Kananaskis River then return the same way.

The ride is about 20 kms with ~300 meters elevation. The Terrace Trail portion of the ride is a single track with enough twists and turns that it is not for beginners.

Our group is invited to join the mountain biking group led by Carol for an evening barbecue.

Required Items to Bring:
- Mountain Bike
- Helmet
- Spare tube and tools
- Appropriate clothing for the conditions, including a rain jacket
- Snacks
- Water (at least 2 litres)
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- Personal first aid kit
- Camera
- Chocolate for the coordinator

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From Highway 1 turn on to Kananaskis Highway 40 and proceed to the turn off to Kananaskis Village and Nakiska. Take the first left towards the village, then right to the Ribbon Creek Trail head. Park in the farthest parking lot.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $60.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Friday, April 19, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
