Distance: approx 6 - 8 km

Bowmont is a beautiful city park. Starting from Silver Springs, we will hike over rolling hills, mainly on dirt paths. Sunset is at 8:46 pm, so we will stop at the ridge to hopefully watch the sun set behind the mountains. The pace of the hike will be slow to moderate; if you want a stroll, this may not be for you - but if the weather cooperates, we will stop for photos and enjoying the views.

From Crowchild Trail, take Silver Springs Gate South. At the intersection (traffic light) of Silver Springs Gate and Silver Springs Blvd, turn left. This road ends at 54th Ave. Parking is available on the south side of the road and at its end
