Bring a bus bag with clothing options and decide on what to take on the ride at the trailhead. Be ready for any type of weather. We have one canal crossing. The water depth won't be known in advance but we've seen it from ankle deep to chest deep. A lot of the lakeside trail has a steep sideslope. We'll be stopping in Banff for a drink and dinner (at your own cost). Don't schedule anything else before late evening.
