Itinerary:
Literally translated, "pannenkoek" is the Dutch word for pancake. But Dutch pancakes are very different from the western ones we eat during Stampede! They are a 12" thin crepe, filled or covered with a variety of ingredients. They offer 79 varieties - either sweet (eg. fruit, jam, syrup, chocolate) or savory (eg. ham, bacon, sausage, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions) or a combination of both (eg. bacon & raisins, ham & pineapple). Fear not that you will not be full as they are deceptively very filling and only twice during my numerous visits, have we been able to even share a dessert pancake!

They also offer a selection of soups, salads, omelettes, and sandwiches.

NOTE: The reservation will be under my name.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:In Lincoln Park Shopping Centre (strip mall) where there is a Kentucky Fried Chicken. Located closest to the stairs of pedestrian bridge over Crowchild Trail.

BY CAR:
- Easiest method is to take Glenmore Trail and to go north on Crowchild Trail. Then turn right on 54 Ave and immediately turn right into strip mall where the Kentucky Fried Chicken is.
[Even if you are going south on Crowchild Trail, it may even be simpler to drive past the 50 Ave flyover bridge & Glenmore Trail & turn around in the Lakeview Shopping Centre so that you are going north on Crowchild Trail.]
- Complicated way is to go south on Crowchild Trail. Take the NEW 50 Ave turn off (so you will need to be on the right side of the road) & go east over the bridge. Turn right (south) at the 4-way stop (which is just at the end of the Central Memorial High School parking lot) onto 21 St. Continue past the 2nd school (Lord Shawnessy High School) & turn right (west) onto 54 Ave and then left into the strip mall.

BY BUS: Route #18 stops at 54 Ave SW & Crowchild Tr

Lots of parking in strip mall.
