I had a blast at the last one. Let's do it again this spring!!!

From the Brentwood LRT park & ride we will carpool out to "Capture the Flag", select our gear, receive a safety briefing and enjoy some target practice. Once we're set to go we will split up into two teams and make our way onto one of the over 12 available courses to play our first round. Depending on how fast we play or run, we'll try to cover as many courses as we can. Between rounds we will break for a short rest period and enjoy some refreshments along with some complimentary bbq'd hot dogs. We should be ready to head by 5pm

INDIVIDUAL COST FOR THIS EVENT WILL VARY DEPENDING ON TYPE AND QUANTITY OF EQUIPMENT RENTED.
Minimum cost will be about $25 with the majority of folks likely spending between $40 and $50.

Required Items to Bring:
- $$ for carpool

- $$ for gun rental and paintballs (minimum cost for basic package is approximatley $20 but expect to pay closer to $50 for a higher quality gun and a more adequate supply of paint balls)

- I have a coupon to cover everyone's initial $7.00 game fee so your cost will be strictly based on the level of gun you choose combined with the number of paintballs you desire as indicated in the following Price Chart.

- $$ for refreshments and/or muchies on site
*Note: All you can eat BBQ'd hotdogs are provided FREE of charge!

- Footwear / clothing you don't mind getting soiled by paint / mud etc (coveralls, full face mask provided)

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- comfortable clothing you dont mind getting soiled

- extra padding for upper body (apparently getting hit by a paintball can leave a rather colourful mark) ouch!

- a pair of OLD gloves (they will likely get paint on them)

- you are permitted to consume your own food and beverage on site if you wish (remember all you can eat hot dogs are provided FREE)

1. Head towards Cochrane on the #1 or 1A Highway
2. Take Cochrane West on #1A for 13km to gas plant.
3. Ghost Gas Station is the last gas station!
4. Just past Gas Plant, turn right (North) onto Highway #40 (Old Forest Trunk Road). Go 22km to KRUGERS CAPTURE THE FLAG sign on right. Turn in and drive 300 Yards to the house and park.
5. DO NOT go past Kings Fold Retreat or go into the Bow Crow Forest Reserve. If you see these signs, you have gone to far!
6. If you get lost call Capture the Flag at 247-8887 for assistance.

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $36.30 (calculated at total Km * $0.33, effective Friday, May 15, 2026). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.

- Access to all 12 courses on 110 acres to rotate through to play private recreational paintball!
