Itinerary:
We will start at the Lake Minnewanka parking lot and ride along the lake until we reach the Ranger Station (approx 16 km or 2 hours or riding). After having lunch on the shore of the lake we will return on the same trail.

This trail isn't too technical but it is constantly winding and rolling and is described as the best legal single track in Banff.

This event is best suited for strong intermediate (or better) riders.

Required Items to Bring:
- A mountain bike
- Helmet **No Exceptions**
- Lunch/Snacks and water
- Tools, tube, and pump
- The proper clothing for the day, either wet or dry
- $ or park pass for entry to Banff National Park
- change of clothes

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Follow Hwy 1 west out of town to the Lake Minnewanka turn off. Follow the road until you reach the parking lot near the boat launch.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $78.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Friday, April 19, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
